Vyzle\u010den\u00ed branci s\u00fa prehliadan\u00ed odvodovou komisiou, v ktorej s\u00fa zast\u00fapen\u00ed predstavitelia v\u0161etk\u00fdch mocensk\u00fdch zlo\u017eiek \u0161t\u00e1tu. Povinn\u00e9 heslo o \u201enaj\u010destnej\u0161ej povinnosti\u201c, sovietska z\u00e1stava, portr\u00e9t \u0161t\u00e1tnika a \u0161t\u00e1tny znak s\u00fa neoddelite\u013enou s\u00fa\u010das\u0165ou tohoto bizarn\u00e9ho ritu\u00e1lu. Panoptik\u00e1lny dojem umoc\u0148uj\u00fa \u00fa\u010dastn\u00edci z obidvoch str\u00e1n \u2013 aj t\u00ed, ktor\u00ed posudzuj\u00fa, aj t\u00ed ktor\u00ed s\u00fa posudzovan\u00ed. V \u010dasoch studenej vojny, v atmosf\u00e9re v\u0161eobecnej ned\u00f4very a&nbsp;ohrozenia predstavovala arm\u00e1da jeden z najtabuizovanej\u0161\u00edch a najmenej transparentn\u00fdch org\u00e1nov \u0161t\u00e1tu. Jej obraz, jej \u201ereprezent\u00e1cia\u201c, bola len zriedka z\u00e1le\u017eitos\u0165ou smrte\u013en\u00edkov, o to vz\u00e1cnej\u0161ie s\u00fa insidersk\u00e9 sn\u00edmky. M\u00e1lo\u010do vypoved\u00e1 o vn\u00fatorn\u00fdch protire\u010deniach a paradoxoch minul\u00e9ho re\u017eimu v\u00fdre\u010dnej\u0161ie ako genderov\u00fd dokument socialistickej apropri\u00e1cie individu\u00e1lneho tela pre vy\u0161\u0161ie \u0161t\u00e1tnopolitick\u00e9 \u00fa\u010dely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Conscription 1980<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The \u201cConscription\u201d cycle shows an inspection of conscripts before the compulsory military service. Naked conscripts are examined by the recruiting board comprised of representatives from all parts of the government. The obligatory slogan of \u201cthe most honorable of duties\u201d, the soviet flag, the portrait of a statesman and state symbol are an inseparable part of the bizarre ritual. The panopticon feeling is amplified by participants from both sides \u2013 those who examine and those who are examined. During the atmosphere of universal mistrust and threat of the Cold War the army represented one the most taboo and least transparent state organs. Due to its image and representation, the army was scarcely any business to commoners, making the insider pictures all the more rare.
